You and I chose the same standard to do our virtual tour, so I was interested to see what you did with yours. It turned out great! I liked that you actually defined what the different ecosystems were once you got to them on the tour. And the pictures you chose were great. The journal entries were creative, and I think kids would have fun with them.
I did a tour very similar to yours. I liked how you kept the information clear and concise. Including links like that was a great idea, especially because there is so much information to be covered. I couldn't get the pictures to show up in the actual window on Google Earth, so I really liked the combination of actual satellite images with photos taken at those locations. Good journal assignments, too.
I also wanted to mention that I really liked the pictures you had at each place. It enhanced the tour experience and made it more fun! It was easy to understand what the activities were at each location. I hadn't thought of doing a Google Earth tour that way before and I really like the way you did it because I could navigate around the Earth at will.
I love to oil paint, scrapbook and teach school of course. I married Mr. Guitar handsome man in June 2009. He goes to school working to be a doc. So he can be Dr. Clark, and I just sit around and write lesson plans. I enjoy basketball, volleyball, track, and dance of course. Brad enjoys Chemistry, Physics and Religion classes. But mostly he enjoys soccer, his guitar, and his wife. We live in an apartment that resembles a small hole in the cold ground and love being together.

ReplyDeleteBrittany - great choice of pictures. You met all of the basic criteria for the assignment.
ReplyDeleteThe video of the hermit in the Mohave desert was kind of weird and interesting at the same time.
Overall good job.
